This painting is to represent that we can still show people love and care, at a distance while following the current distancing rules in place by the government. For example... You can't catch the virus if you are out for your daily exercise and someone smiles at you from a distance, so smile back! You can still stay "hello, how are you?" to people you pass, you won't get ill. The world is a lonely place for many right now, most of us are used to seeing people on a daily basis and it's hard living like this. Partners who don’t live together, can’t see each other, we can’t kiss or hug our grandparent, even basic things like going to work and having a catch-up with our work friends, everything is different and hard. But hopefully little acts of kindness and just a smile to people passing by, can help us all feel better, hopefully this painting can help show this.
