In 2018 there were 6,507 people in the UK that committed suicide.

Mental health is a massive problem around the word and especially here in the UK. There is very little resources for the mass amount of people who need help.

I wanted to use my power, my voice, my art to help raise awareness of mental health issues faced by the people around us. This painting was to represent the same person, almost like a mirrored image. One side of them is colourful, thriving, positive and is growing. Then the other side is dark,lost and struggling. The fact is when you look around at your loved ones, you have no idea which on of these images in consuming their heads. It is also okay to not be okay.

For every sale of this print, I will be donating 50% to SAMH- Scottish Association for Mental Health. I felt I need to do my part at helping people right hear, around my home. The original of this painting has already sold , which I donated 50% to the charity from the sale.
