The other day I heard this quote....

"A disco ball is in the middle of a dance floor because they reflect light. They are broken a million times which makes them so shiny and there are people in society like that. They hang in there and every time they break it entertains people. But when you shine a light on them they are this glittering, sparking, fantastic thing that everyone wants to dance around"

This painting is A3 in size and painted on 300gsm card, ready to be popped into a standard size frame. It was painted with acrylic paints and metallic inks. There are hints of silver in the painting which shimmer when the light hits the painting, just like it would a real disco ball.
