This is an original painting, painted on canvas board with acrylic paints and metallic inks. It would be perfect to place on a side shelf or to put in a frame for the wall. The painting is 12x10 inches in size.

The light grey background is lovely at bringing out the purple shades in the thistle head. The flickers of metallic ink also add to the 3D effect of the painting and help bring the painting to life.

It was inspired by the summer flowers in bloom and the butterflies fluttering around.
